Hello! My name is Summer Sims and I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a freshman Pre-Business major. I know when I graduate I want to be in a business profession, but I have no idea what part of business. My dream job would probably be owning a company that is similar to buzzfeed. Although I have this vision, I really don't know what is going to happen when I graduate. I came to Clemson because there are so many different majors to choose from, so if I do want to change major, it won't be extremely difficult. I also came to Clemson because I love school spirit, and my dad's side of the family lives in South Carolina, so I can visit them for the weekend if I get sick of being here. Lastly, it is true that southerners are much nicer than northerners, so living in a place where the people are more personable really boosts my mood.

Although I was never passionate about the writing aspect of English in high school, I absolutely love reading if I am actually invested in the book. I just started reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo but I'm not sure if I like the book since it doesn't have much action, and I need a book that keeps me on my toes to finish. My favorite genres are fantasy and mystery. I read to get away from reality and to be entertained, which is one of the reasons I have problems reading assigned books if they are too realistic. That being said, I believe that if you don't enjoy reading a book you shouldn't be wasting your time reading it.
